Core Knowledge UK Resource Books
The Core Knowledge UK resource books bring alive the primary curriculum, called the Core Knowledge Sequence UK, which is a year-by-year outline of the skills and content to cover in the arts, humanities and sciences in Years 1 to 6. What Your Year 1 Child Needs to Know fleshes out the Sequence UK is the first in a series of six books—one for each school year—for teachers, parents and children to enjoy.
If you are a primary teacher or head teacher who would like to receive a complimentary copy of What Your Year 1 Child Needs to Know on behalf of your school, contact us at coreknowledge@civitas.org.uk and provide us with your school's mailing address. We will be happy to send you a copy of the resource book and information about the support we provide for schools. Also, please register for our newsletter to gain resources and receive the latest updates.
